The space is a dream come true. Born from a vision and come into being as a labor of devotion to detail, this not so tiny house was built as an addition to our home for lovers of beauty and those who dream and wish to dream of greatness.

The heart opening view from the lofted bed was the vision’s focal point and we hope it is as inspiring, uplifting and life-improving for you as we intended it to be.

No expense was spared, with many elements imported, to achieve the artful and energetic composition.

Practically speaking, it has its own private entrance, sweet as can be bathroom and full kitchen stocked with wonderful things to produce wonderful meals and dine divinely.

The whole property in which this apartment is set is relatively modernly outfitted, with strong wifi and clean drinking and bathing water.

You may retreat into this oasis and isolate (we support deep dives) and you may help yourself to the lakefront lawn and garden that are shared by the other property dwellers. Usually there are plenty of herbs, greens and fruits to pick from the garden to make your meals, which you are invited to partake of respectfully.

Please be mindful of animal friends and not to leave your things in common spaces.

Our loft is one of four spaces on our private property where we also live. As such, we invite quiet guests who will respect us and the experience of the other guests in our home. Guests can enjoy amazing views and breathe clean air from their private patio, or relax in our garden space. We insist that guests respect the privacy, space & belongings of others, and ask that you treat each other and our spaces as you would something you love & care for very much.

This is an entire private apartment. It’s own private entrance gives this space extra privacy.

PLEASE NOTE 》》 Access to the shared garden, lake entry, and sauna are available through the main entry gate. This apartment does not feature a patio space or patio access. However, it does cone with yoga mats and beach towels so you can enjoy the garden.

Set just outside booming San Marcos (5 minute walk), on the pristine lakefront, our neighborhood (called Silani) is the sought-after residential sweet spot between being close to town and enjoying serene peace and quiet.

Being situated on a road gives us drive-up access, which makes moving with luggage convenient, especially for people who come the whole way by road.

A new dock is being constructed just beside us, which we expect to make it easy for people who come by boat from Panajachel. The dock should also make it super convenient for guests who want to hop on boats to go around the lake.

San Marcos is a new age mecca and wellness workers from around the world make pilgrimages to experience and share their offerings. A robust social and dining scene has developed around tourism and there are many places to go and activities to get involved in. There are community groups to join to find out what's going on, and you can also watch the posters hung around town. Synchronicity is a San Marcos specialty, and if you stay open magic could find you.

By Foot, Tuk Tuk and Lancha Boat!

San Marcos is a walking, tuk tuk, and taxi boat place, so cars are not needed. If you bring one, we can try to help you find parking for it.

Central San Marcos is a short (5-7 minute) walk along the lakefront or by road. If you’d rather take a tuk tuk we have provided numbers of our trusted friends. A tuk tuk from San Marcos center to us should cost 5q per person during the day and 10q per person at night. If the price matters to you have exact change and don’t ask the driver how much they want.

Taking a lancha boat to go to another town on the lake is super easy. Just walk along the lakeshore towards town and hop on a boat going in your direction from the main San Marcos dock. The new dock being built just beside us could make it very convenient to take boats around the lake!
